The Story

It's be nearly 600 turns since the 9th Pass came and went. That pass was suppose to be the last. Records show that somehow our ancestors actually managed to knock the Red Star off course so Thread would no longer plague our planet. Pern has not had it easy though. Tempers flare between the Northern and Southern Continents and a plague killed most of our precious dragons. Now, the Red Star is becoming more prominent in the dawning sky. I can only hope it doesn't mean anything, but only the future knows.

Remember all characters start off with one (1) standard weapon and one (1) standard armor. What type of armor you want is up to you, it can be leather, cloth, or metal. Note: As with weapons, Armor does not count towards your base score. It is in addition to.

Armor Class:

    Standard - 75 marks
    Standard Armor offers no bonus

    Masterwork - 175 marks (must have Journeyman Echelon)
    Masterwork armor grants a +1 bonus to Brawn

    Superior - 250 marks (must have Master Echelon)
    Superior armor grants a +2 bonus to Brawn

    Light Fortified - 325 marks (must have champion Echelon)
    Light Fortified armor grants a +3 bonus to Brawn

    Heavy Fortified - 400 marks (must have Savior Echelon)
    Heavy Fortified armor grants a +4 bonus to Brawn


Bits and Bobbles

    Simple engraving - 20 marks
    Moderate engraving - 40 marks
    Masterwork engraving - 60 marks
    Silver plating - 70 marks
    Gold plating - 100 marks
    Glamored - 1000 marks Glamored armor is the most exquiste of armor for it can look however you wish it to.
